You can either crop to make the output 16:9 or keep the full image and stretch the output to 16:9 or do a combination of both. I know, its weird, anyways i solved it now.

Next to the default path box, click the browse button. Dvds, small web videos, and most analog sources are sd.↩ 720p hd video has a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. Any change will be autocorrected to that.
